Initial review

Every proposal is reviewed individually. Submitting a form does not constitute an appraisal, a firm valuation or a commitment to purchase.

Ownership, provenance and legality

The person offering an object must be an adult, own it or be legally authorised to sell it. Cin Bien-être may refuse any proposal where provenance, ownership, authenticity or legality appears doubtful.

Seller identification

If a purchase is considered, a valid identity document will be requested before the transaction. Necessary reference details may be recorded to meet traceability requirements applicable to the resale of movable second-hand goods. The identity document must not be sent through the initial public form.

Documents concerning the object

Depending on the nature or value of the object, Cin Bien-être may request proof of ownership or provenance, such as an invoice, certificate, inheritance document or other useful evidence.

Purchase price

The seller may provide their own estimate for guidance. Any purchase price is determined by Cin Bien-être after reviewing the object, its condition, interest and resale potential.

Rejected objects

Objects whose possession or sale is prohibited, clearly counterfeit objects, objects of doubtful origin, or objects for which required supporting documents cannot be provided may be refused.

Collection

For some objects or lots, collection may be considered depending on geographical area, volume, nature of the goods and access conditions. It is never guaranteed before express agreement.
